The Backstory
GT: Garage Talk began in 2020 when Cory set out to turn his lifelong passion for the automotive world into a career. What started as a gearhead podcast covering car news and industry stories quickly grew into something bigger: real car reviews for real people.
In 2022, Holli and Tucker joined the fun, bringing a fresh perspective on how vehicles perform in everyday family life. From car seat installs and grocery runs to road trips and school pickup lines, our reviews reflect how cars actually work for families, not just how they look on paper.
That’s also why we launched Female Consumer, a dedicated space where Holli shares car reviews through the lens of what women really care about: car seat fit, storage, comfort, safety, tech, and style.
Today, GT: Garage Talk blends expert insight with real-world usability, helping everyday drivers find vehicles that fit their lifestyles and budgets. We’re more than car enthusiasts; we’re a family behind the wheel.

CORY FOURNIQUET
Cory’s love for cars started at age 9, during a big move that changed everything, except his new obsession with a certain green Mustang. That spark turned into years of research (in a pre-Google world!) and eventually, a dream realized when he bought his own anniversary edition Mustang.
After a career in data analysis, he shifted gears (pun intended) to pursue his true passion: helping others discover what makes a vehicle special. Now, as an award-winning automotive journalist and President of the Texas Auto Writers Association, Cory brings expert insight and enthusiasm to GT: Garage Talk, sharing car reviews, stories from industry changemakers, and content that helps real people find the right ride. Whether it’s horsepower or how many car seats fit in the back, Cory’s here to break it all down.
Tucker
Tucker is the youngest member of the GT: Garage Talk crew, bringing a fun, kid-approved perspective to every car we review. From testing tailgates to pushing every button he can find, Tucker shows what families really want to know. As a homeschooler, filming and reviewing for his own YouTube channel—Tucker’s Talk—is part of his learning journey. He’s even been a Hot Wheels car show judge and is already making waves as a young automotive journalist with reviews on cars, toys, attractions, and more.

Holli has over two decades of experience in the marketing world. By day, she provides affordable marketing solutions helping brands grow with smart, effective strategies that get results. In her spare time, she is an award-winning automotive journalist and brings a practical, female-first perspective to every review. She also writes for A Girls Guide to Cars, helping women feel confident and informed when choosing their next vehicle. From cup holders to comfort, Holli covers the features that matter most to moms and everyday drivers
